Instructors

Guru Made has been teaching Yoga for more than 20 years. He started his journey from classic Sivananda Hatha Yoga, and now he is specialized in ancient healing Balinese yoga Markandeya, yoga therapy, sound healing and aqua healing shiatsu. He is a head of Yoga Community in the North of Bali and helps local people to find happiness by teaching them yoga. Guru Made conducts a very special 7 chakra healing cleansing ceremony at our Holy Santhipala waterfall and teaches Balinese Healing Yoga and Meditations at the Retreat.

Ari was working as an emergency nurse for couple years when she got autoimmune disease which made her not possible to walk and doing active movement. Yoga became one thing that healed her. Since that, she decided to start teach yoga and share her experience with other people. Ari is certified Hatha and Yin Yoga Teacher. Her teaching is grounded in the principles of embodiment, that refers to the practice of bringing awareness to physical sensations, emotions, and thoughts in the present moment. Ari teaches Meditation at Santhika Retreat.

Meet Nena, an International Yoga Teacher with a rich and diverse training background. She completed her traditional Hatha Yoga Teacher Training at a Yoga Alliance accredited school in India, and further honed her expertise with a prestigious scholarship from a renowned yoga school in Ubud, Bali. With her RYT500-hour certification and YACEP, Nena brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. Nena’s philosophy is simple: "Yoga is my Therapy! I love sharing my passion and love for practice with others."
